For Manchester University, we were commissioned to create a bespoke seating solution designed to complement a distinctive architectural feature within the space. The brief required a curved sofa to precisely follow the dimensions of a circular tiled area. Using our Zen model as the foundation, we adapted the design to achieve a seamless fit, resulting in a striking and cohesive focal point. To enhance both comfort and visual appeal, the sofa was finished with a mix of large and small scatter back cushions, adding depth and flexibility to the seating arrangement. A coordinating backless curved stool was also introduced, completing the layout and providing additional, versatile seating. The final result is a well-integrated, contemporary seating feature that works in harmony with the surrounding space while offering both comfort and practicality.
